The Lovely White

Introducing... The Lovely White

BEFORE

AFTER

This is an old dresser I was lucky enough to stumble upon one day.
Probably one of the best finds I've ever come upon.
It was a quite rickety and needed alot of work as you can see from close up pictures below.I managed to restore the missing pieces and with a covering of paint,
miracles can happen.

after

There were cracks and chips in the edges, then the detailed work on the front of it was all chipped off and coming off. So that took a little repairing.

  8. Love it! I am curious how you fixed the missing/peeling veneer? I have noticed pieces in thrift stores with that going on. I didn't buy them b/c I had no idea how to fix it. :(

  9. You are genius. I have been afraid of pieces with that kind of damage. I knew they could be repaired but didn't know how. You would be my new best friend if you did a tutorial or just told your secret. I know how glue and fill cracks....just don't get the missing pieces of the detail.....Genius!

  10. Shelbi,
Dying to know how you repaired the peeling veneer. I have an old buffet that is in desperate need of some TLC and has some badly chipped veneer on the edge. Advice would be welcome!!!!
